Extended School Year

Children with autism and like diagnoses often show significant regression socially as well as academically when they have breaks in instruction.  This can make summers particularly hard for these children and their families.  To maintain strong social and communication skills as well as student progress in reading and math, The Bridge of Georgia offers two summer sessions for students.  We are excited to offer this opportunity to families where their children can continue to grow and learn in a fun and engaging way throughout the long weeks of summer.

These fun-filled sessions don’t feel like work to students as we target specific social skills in a more relaxed setting.  Teachers use games, activities, crafts, and literature to target these skills as well as hands-on tools to maintain skills in math and reading.  They also address IEP and GAPP goals throughout the sessions.  These sessions fill up quickly so you will want to register early to reserve your child’s spot!

To register, fill out the above application packs and return them to the front desk along with the $75 per session deposit.
